Bush: As Bad As It Gets?

Here’s an article that argues Bush is the worst president ever. Even worse than Herbert Hoover, who, by the way, didn’t lie to go to war, stack the courts with his think-alike clone minions, or blur the divide between state and religion. I didn’t need convincing, but if you do, consider just a few of these points that the writer, Stephen Pizzo, lays out.

First up, according to a
study
by the Pew Center, America’s approval rating is at an all time low across the world, except oddly, in Russia. Turkey and Pakistan. There’s a joke there but I’m just going to let it go.

Then there is the war in Iraq, fast becoming known as “that darn war.” It just won’t end. Who knows how long our troops will be there? Maybe till global warming kills us all (the article doesn't mention W's environmental record, but you can check out La Blogda's archives for some of that info)

Of course, no list citing W’s bad behavior would be complete without mentioning the Patriot Act. W and his gang of neocons are pushing to to demand business records in terror investigations without obtaining approval from a judge. This administration is taking power away from the states and giving it to Washington.

That’s just a sampling of the article. Pizzo wraps it up saying he’s afraid it’s too late to stop W and his gang, and that the only recourse is public demonstrations. Note to Prada: it’s time to make some good walking shoes. Baby’s gotta march.
