Enough Lies to Fill a Database

Wow, there really is a website for everything. This one is a database that cites the lies told by Republicans. It’s highly functional and easy to use. A drop down menu lets you pick a topic, like the environment, and then another drop down list a who’s who of Republican bad guys, from members of the Fox News Team to the Master of Ceremony for the GOP’s lies, W! I haven’t been this happy to stumble across a website since I discovered the Prada-for-less site. Yeah, like I’d share that link.

Here’s a random look at what the database has to offer.

Topic: Environment

Speaker: Bush, George - President
10/18/2002

Quote/Claim:
"On October 18, 2002, our Nation marks the 30th anniversary of the Clean Water Act and begins the Observance of the Year of Clean Water. This landmark environmental legislation has been central to the important progress we have made as a Nation in improving the quality of our drinking water and the health of our waters, wetlands, and watersheds. Fact:
"Under Bush's new budget, funding for clean water infrastructure would drop from $2.6 billion to $1.8 billion. The programs slated for reductions include sewage treatment plants, water purification facilities, and targeted pollution-prevention investments. - Joint Budget Analysis by Environmental Groups, 2/4/04"
